Crazzzy day...
Let's start with the good.
We went to look at an apt down by the mall,
and the guy said he might have a job for me!
I'd be a leasing agent :)
Totally perfect because of Pat's
construction business idea.
So this will help me tremendously.
That guy was awesome,
he even stayed late to show us around.

Alright, as for the not so good...
We're looking for a new apt. because
we're having a major problem with our landlord
she just doesn't like me.
I mean to the point that she said "hate".
The hardest part is that our landlord happens to
be in Pat's family....
I'm not really sure why she dislikes me so much either.
It's not like it wasn't obvious.
Or like she was polite to me in the past.
But she had it out with Pat today.
Well, actually that's a lie...
I know why she doesn't like me.
But I'm sure you wouldn't believe me if I told you,
Why? because it's just ridiculous.
No joke. She actually said that.
Crazy.
I dunno, I felt kinda guilty at first because
Pat told her we wouldn't be seeing her
anymore. So I kinda felt like I was splitting
the family up. But to be honest, I don't think I
could have been any nicer to her.
In the almost six years I've been with Pat,
she's never said one nice thing to me,
and I've never said one rude thing to her.
Not even remotely.
It's just insane.
But it's over.
Thank God.
So, getting ready to move
for the second time in 2 months.

I have gotten some legit offers from craigslist
but they generally try to get it for less
or trade you for something worse.
It's human nature to look out for yourself
so don't believe that someone will pay you
$300 more than the asking price for shipping.
In real life, it ain't gonna happen.
I am interested in finding out HOW they
rip you off using your paypal account.
Let me know.
I figure they just get your email add.

bottom line - don't sell to someone unless you can see their face and don't let go of the "product" unless you have cash in hand ( I read on one of these scam catcher sites that even cashiers checks can be faked - so if you get one meet them at the bank and cash it there.)
so disappointed in these people, they are the reason the world is so messed up

"she" contracted me through craigslist,
saying that she wanted me to by my laptop
that was for sale and that she was "out of the area"
at the moment and could I please
give her my paypal info
so she could do an instant deposit
I'm not sure how she was planning to rip me off
but when I googled her name
it came up with virtually the same exact story -
a blogger complaining that this "melissa" person
had tried to rip them off in a computer scheme
anyway here's the details so that
you don't fall for the same story
if she changes her name
she asked me pretty normal questions
but instead of saying laptop - she always
said item or product/s
she also said she was currently out of the area
and that she was buying this as a b-day gift for her kid
who was studying overseas
she wanted to use paypal
I never would have suspected her,
but my friend that uses craigslist a lot
told me to google her email address
just to be sure
and sure enough
SCAMMER.
ugh horrible people make me so angry.

Senior Year!!!
Senior Year.
Thank goodness it's almost over :)
...you know before the next
hundred years of school.
I'm taking:
Cognitive Psych,
Tests & Measures,
The Life Cycle,
and
A Narrative Perspective
of Culture and Ethics
Only two of my classes are
online this semester, which is fine
but this campus
has very small class sizes,
which makes attendance mandatory
and presentations possible :(
In fact, I already have to give a presentation
in Cognitive Psych :(
It's not until November,
but we all know,
I'll be worrying about it until then.
Applying for another job in the morning,
this one is with a financial corp., and
sounds like a really good fit.
It's full time but the hours
already mostly fit around my classes.

Things that bother me:
gritty floors
certain individuals
condensation
grimy things
mirrors that cannot be rid of their swirl-marks
School:
School starts the 24th :(
2 weeks of summer is not enough.
I was taking 18 hours Fall semester
BUT
I cut it down to 12 because otherwise
I'll only have one class to take
spring semester.
I could have just added
that one class to this semester
BUT
then I'd have to get my own insurance
because I'm not prepared
for grad school yet.
GRE, volunteer work, letters, etc...
Job:
Not looking too good at the moment.
I found one job at a drug rehab facility
but it was only on the weekends and
it was for the 11pm-7am shift.
which I'm sure is why
it's vacant in the first place.
I'm a little worried about the added stress,
but I should try.
I think I'm going to work at Sky King
until I can find something related to psychology.
I also need to get busy volunteering
Tomorrow:
7 am - get blood drawn AGAIN because
Quest didn't take enough on Monday.
Seriously, they called and said that.
8 am - Take Slate to get neutered. :(
8:30 am - out to Pat's for pavers, and shed
9 am - get pressure washer
and tree/bush clippers
9:30 am - pressure wash the house ALL DAY.
Also moving sucks because,
you get double bills that month.
Double Electric
Double Water - which costs wayyy more here
Double Cable/Internet
Mini reunion on Monday!!! :)
AND Pat's home the next TWO days!

2 weeks until fall classes :(
Just finished my last class for this summer.
Two weeks until fall classes.
time to start looking for a job
I hate hate hate job hunting.
I always feel so awkward, asking people for a job
All the jobs I've had so far have been
word of mouth jobs
Well I'm going to be alone for like the next 3 days
since Pat got transferred here
and didn't tell the boss lady his hours
so shes working him to the bone.
Anyway, I'll have plenty of time to look for jobs.
Wish me luck.
Moved in to the house officially yesterday.
Mischief doesn't care at all but
Slate keeps hiding under the bed covers -
which he's never done.
Poor Baby I feel like doing that a little too
especially last night when there were a million dishes to do
- no dishwasher
I have the feeling we'll being eating out a lot.
Ah I'm just grumpy at the prospect
of being alone for the next 3 days.
